After corresponding with A’ME Grips on several occasions, Mr Bob Rutten (Head of Marketing over at A’ME Grips) has kindly enrolled both myself & ValleySideDistro onto the A’ME Athletes Support Programme – Within the next ten days I will have received a box including fourteen different grips models (in various colours) – Subsequently, these grips will be tested by various riders on the ValleySideDistro Programme (including members of the flow team). Grips available for testing include the ‘BMX FREESTYLE ROUND GRIP, the ‘BMX CLAMP-ON TRI GRIPS’ and the ‘BMX CAM GRIPS’. This months shout-out goes to ‘Fluid BMX Store‘ – A fairly new BMX shop based in the Monmouth (Wales, UK) area! The shop also provides a mail-order facility – I personally have relied on their mail order service and have found it to be very efficient (next day!). The shop carries brands such as Subrosa, S&M, Cult, Lotek, Static and many, many more! Furthermore, if they don’t stock it, they will try their hardest to get whatever it is your after. Nearly forgot, they have a BMX Team in the making! And finally, the shop is rider owned and operated (Elliott Pardington, BMX’er since 1982!). I had the opportunity to check the Forcefield Body Armour booth at The Cycle Show (2011) – And very glad I did! I was impressed with the quality of the products; and the representatives were cool. In short, FORCEFIELD BODY ARMOUR ARE LINK OF THE MONTH! Within the next 6 months we will be testing both the ‘Limb Tube Knee Armour‘ and the ‘Zeus Knee Protector’ – I’ve had a chance to sneek-peak both sets of pads – High expectations, ’nuff said!
