I just got issue 164 of Ride UK through my door – And a brilliant issue at that! Main stand out? Probably the Phil Demattia interview… It’s a blazer! But Mr Demattia ain’t!

“Riding anywhere outdoors during the last month was pretty much deemed a write-off. The UK is supposedly in a drought (even though it’s been raining constantly for over a month now) but despite the non-stop rain, we dug deep and battled on. Product news/previews/review: Dartmoor Bikes (Powered by Slam69!!!)

The Polish BMX/MTB company Dartmoor Bikes has recently launched their 2012 product range – Once again they look to have gone from strength to strength, by launching new products and fine tuning their existing range (all of which can be seen in the Dartmoor 2012 Catalogue). On a personal level, I can attest to the high quality of Dartmoor components – Every Dartmoor product from the first Dartmoor Product Review I undertook remains sound, even now, 14 months on!

After recent talks with Slam69 I was flowed some more products for review – The 2012 ‘Thorn Cranks’ and the ‘Fatty Seat/Post combo’…

I first learnt about ‘Forcefield Body Armour’ at the Cycle Show (2011), where I had the opportunity to meet the Forcefield Marketing Director – After subsequent correspondence, it was agreed we were to cooperate on some light advertising and product testing – Soon after, I received my first package, the Forcefield ‘Limb Tube’ Armour (Knee Pads).
