Photographer of the month/March – Coco Zurita!

Okay, okay, you got me!!! We are behind schedule, BIG TIME… But, in our defence, we gave this next post time to mature, like a fine wine – And it don’t get much more BIG TIME, than this months, Graduand in style… So, Ladies and Gentlemen, may I hand you over to the man himself, A.K.A, Valleyside Photographer of the Month, Mr COCO ZURITA…  -VS

Rise of the machines...

“Shooting photos is like capturing a fraction of a second, of your own perspective of life, if you think about it, no one else can take the same pic you did, it’s something so personal and relative,  shapes, places, feelings, and thoughts; all together in a frame that will remind forever…

The times are changing - Why not take a second, to freeze frame a piece of history...

An amazing way to capture the time, bring memories back, and at the same time is a cool way to express yourself, through a lense of endless freedom. Taking pics to me is just a hobby, who knows it could  be my job in the future, maybe, maybe not.

Check out Coco's unique perspective...

I grew up riding BMX freestyle; I had a few friends around that were into photography, we would always take riding pics of each other, that way we were able to see our tricks, evolution and styles, some time down the road I bought my own camera, thats when i started taking pics of all my trips, it was fun, lots of precision, and the fact that you could actually play with the camera settings was the coolest thing, that’s when a normal pic becomes your creation, not when you let the camera shoot the pic, but when you actually shoot the photo exactly how you want it.

Do it all!

I never went to college for it, i just learned  through out the times, with patients and playing around – I’ve been working with professional photographers for about 8 years now, and every time we do a photo shoot I learn something new, always!

"How many times are you going to have me jump of this freaking shoe box!?"

Through out the years, I’ve been improving my camera gear, always using Canon.  I am currently using a 5DMark2, 4 different lenses, 2 flashes, with pocket wizards and some tripods.

Never one to miss out on an action shot...

Photography has totally changed the way i see things, how much you appreciate  the simple things in life like a smile, or just leafs on the ground. It makes me realize how great God’s creation is, and how blessed I am, by being able to see, breath and walk around… To be able to shoot those amazing life moments.”

Don't try doing this at Alton Tower! Or any other theme park for that matter...
