The VANS REBEL JAM will be taking place this weekend at the York Hall in London (UK). The contest is very STREET orientated and this can be evidenced by the fact they got Brian Kachinsky in to design the course. At present over sixty pro riders will be battling it out for a piece of the 20,000 euro pro purse. The event itself is free to watch but make sure you get there early enough to get a spectator position (it will no doubt be packed). This months shout-out goes to ‘Fluid BMX Store‘ – A fairly new BMX shop based in the Monmouth (Wales, UK) area! The shop also provides a mail-order facility – I personally have relied on their mail order service and have found it to be very efficient (next day!). The shop carries brands such as Subrosa, S&M, Cult, Lotek, Static and many, many more! Furthermore, if they don’t stock it, they will try their hardest to get whatever it is your after. Nearly forgot, they have a BMX Team in the making! And finally, the shop is rider owned and operated (Elliott Pardington, BMX’er since 1982!).
